Why am I not getting email notices?
There are 3 main reasons why you might not be getting an email about your books coming in:
- Your correct email address is not in your library account. For instance, your email address might be misspelled in your account, or if your email address has changed, the library might have your old address.
- Your preference to receive email notices may not have been noted in your account.
- Email notices from the library may be ending up in your spam or junk folder.
To check on #1 and #2 above, please call the library (have your card number handy) and ask staff to make sure your email address and preference for email notices have been recorded.
If you would like to check your address and notice preference yourself, please log in to your library account (http://sarac.co.sarasota.fl.us/patroninfo), click the "Modify Personal Info" button, and verify the email address and notice preference listed in your account.
For #3 above, please add email@example.com to your email "Contact List" or "Address Book."
